Defence partner employment: how we help
How the RSL Veterans’ Employment Program helps military spouses find meaningful employment.
As a defence partner or veteran partner, you’re no stranger to making sacrifices to support your loved one’s career in the ADF. From regularly relocating to solo parenting children during your partner’s deployments (often without extended family support), finding and keeping work has probably been a challenge. It’s likely your own career has taken a back seat while your partner serves their country. For that, we thank you.
But if the time has come to build or advance your own career, the RSL is here for you. We’ll walk beside you every step of the way towards a job you love.
How we support defence partner employment
The RSL Veterans’ Employment Program is free to access for defence partners and veteran partners and their working age children. Our expert career coaches understand the unique challenges faced by military spouses when it comes to entering or re-entering the workforce. They provide personalised, one-on-one support.
